People who are obsessed with cleaning/detailing their car are weird (srs)

When i say clean, nothing wrong with keeping the inside tidy and clean.

But the wackjobs who hand wash it everyday, use all types of polish, and detail it all the time are weird as phuck.

A car is meant to be driven. Cant imagine being so anal about a car when anything can happen to it at any moment.

I take my new tesla 2023 thru the automatic car wash almost daily and no fcks given.

I only wash once every 2 weeks- month

I'm into car detailing. It's honestly therapeutic and a fun hobby for me. I don't drive anything fancy because a car is a depreciating tool but I do like to take care of my belongings the best I can.

A few times a year, I'll spend a full weekend doing a wash routine that limits contact and scratches, stripping off old product, correcting paint imperfections and adding protection to the paint.

My daily beater is 20 years old and looks almost new.
