Voters’ grim economic outlook helps boost Trump in new battleground poll

A deeply pessimistic view of the U.S. economy among registered voters was a driving force behind new polling that shows former President Donald Trump with an advantage over President Joe Biden in key presidential swing states.

Overall, 81% of registered voters said the condition of the U.S. economy was either “Fair” or “Poor,” compared with just 19% who said it was “Good” or “Excellent, according to The New York Times and Siena College survey.

The poll points to troubling signs for the Biden campaign.

Of course it isn't a slam dunk. Literally every metric of US life has taken a nose dive under this dementia patient, who can't even string together two sentences coherently and looks more and more like a walking cadaver.
