It's a crap shoot.

I'm currently well employed and have been applying to jobs, filling out full applications and submitting Resume & Cover letters, following up.....most of them well below my qualification level and I'm not even getting responses. Applying to jobs that are 30-50k less than I currently make with laughable titles.....nothing. Maybe they know I'm overqualified...who knows.

Not even trying to leave my current job....trying to get another offer so I can push for another raise.

Because you know even if you get it it's not what you really want to be doing. Very hard to get excited for something you're basically forced into doing. Yeah let me get amped up to sell myself off to be a slave for someone else just to get a bit of money to not be a bum.

Which scenario here sounds like a winner?
1. You don't get the job and you remain a poor bum
2. You do get the job and your day to day life is now instantly sh*t

What are you talking about.....Biden's economy is bah bah bah booooooooming!!! Haven't you heard? You might not be seeing it, or feeling it, or even be able to recognize it and you might be struggling to pay the bills more now than ever and consumables are the most expensive they've ever been and everything is more expensive and wages are not adjusting to match.....but they're telling us it's great!
