BOY OH BOY Something Great Is Happening To Our Economy! Free Money!

The two major issues right now that are alarming are the obvious immigration increase via calculated invasion tactics from our own government to destabilize the nation...

But the other one is.....INSANE.

Total US Debt is now $33.649 trillion.

UP $58 billion in one day

UP $604 billion in one month

UP $20 billion every day

UP $833 million every hour.

At this rate US debt will be $41 trillion in one year.

Time to get your hard assets in line boyos. It's going to be a bumpy ride. The US is printing money faster than I ever thought possible tbh. All while trying to slip right under the radar.

Yea at my work we've been saying we're in a silent depression. It's already here...just hasn't announced itself quite yet. It's so fukked.

I've asked all my truck drivers what things are like and it's not good for retail. Most places are dead in the water. Even my baler guy picking up all our cardboard bales asked us if we were staying in business because everywhere else is teetering on the edge of failure.

The federal government is still spending like we are in the midst of the Karen Covid pandemic. Mid 2024 to early 2025 will be a good time to buy up assets if you have cash to spare. The question is what kind of bailouts the feds will be pushing next year around Q3.

People have been getting child care money and rent assistance this whole time? I figured that must've stopped like 2 years ago.

The debt is insane. I can't believe how much debt people have and yet are so unbelievably unconcerned by it.

While I don't have a house and missed the boat, I will be forever grateful getting myself to be entirely debt free.

Oh yea. My mom is in commerical real estate (property manager for huge commercial properties) and now every single one of her properties are going to the bank. From Chicago to Atlanta. She can't pay any bills on time for the building lmao. It's insane.

2024-2025 will be a commercial property nightmare.

It's only the beginning boyos.

The crazy part is debt interest will likely keep rising even if we make substantial cuts to spending. The majority of new debt the gov issued these past few years was at short term low interest rates. New debt will have to be issued except now it will be at higher interest rates.

That said, Japan has had worse debt/GDP ratio for decades and they are still afloat. Like others, I am amazed they have been able to keep this house of cards up as long as they have.

I think the main things are what you need to live and self sufficiency. Housing/land/car/tools etc.

Sounds a little counterintuitive, but now might not be a terrible time to upgrade appliances if you were already thinking of doing it. If we enter a massive currency devaluation scenario you will be happy you bought things when your dollar still commanded power. We aren't there yet by any means, but it's something to be aware of.

Wow. Add to that the overbuilding of apartment complexes across the country. And WeWork declaring bankruptcy this week, they'll be dumping a metric schit ton of office leases across the country in the coming months.

Building in my city's downtown is on a tear lately, but it's all residential or government, no commercial spaces other than some first floors of mixed used buildings. The new apartments are all places where the cheapest 1 bedrooms start just under $3000 a month so good luck to them on filling the thousands of units recently completed and getting built now. When I was living there back in 2008 they were completing a condo building with a very unique look too it. The smallest units were priced at $500K (a lot of dough 15 years ago) and went up to around $1 million. Fast forward a couple years later and they were auctioned off for ~$150-240K. A lot of commercial real estate will be in a similar fate as that condo building. Ya gotta wonder what that's going to do to especially regional banks.

See: Argentina and Japan. Japan is the better case scenario if we end up in a debt spiral. Argentina's middle class had a huge decrease in standard of living.

Think of someone who takes out a cash advance on a credit card so they can pay the monthly minimum on another credit card. Staying on the current path that person will be the US government later this decade. Treasury yields are extremely high. The government is already desperate to sell them, swelling future debt. If that stays the course guess where they're going to get the money from to fill the gap. Taxpayers. And 2022 inflation will look like the good old days. They'll lie about inflation as always so they don't have to pay retirees as much Social Security. Oh hai bhicks, it's mom and dad!! Can we move in with you?

The one thing that keeps the ceiling from collapsing is the intrinsic value of the US dollar globally. A lot of that value comes down to where else is the world going to turn to? Nowhere.
Yeah Buddyyy! Light weight! Light weight baby!!!!
