My first wife. It didn't take long for us to start talking about divorce but we stayed married for over 3 years. The details and stories would be rage inducing for anyone reading them, though looking back some are amusing now. After we got married she would literally tell people she was a princess, sometimes very shortly after meeting them. She was in grad school and terrified of not doing well so I filled roles of both husband and wife at home. More accurately she acted like she was a very studious, helpless high school student, while I fulfilled the roles of husband, parent and maid. Yeah I paid for everything and then some, did 100% of the cleaning, spent Saturday mornings doing all the laundry, I bought all the groceries, did 95% of the daily walks with our dog, did all of his puppy training, took him to the dog park by myself. Every piece of furniture or decoration, etc? You guessed it, me.
We went out with her grad school friends a lot on weekends and eventually one of them told me, "yeah 'Frank' she's trying to prove to us that she's a princess and it certainly seems like she is." Gdamnit. We had weekly fights. I came to resent her but didn't want to be a divorce statistic so I suckered myself into revolving my life around hers. It wasn't like I wasn't aware I could do better. People told me such and I had no fear of not finding other women, as I found myself in multiple situations where other women wanted me to cheat. I didn't want to be another divorce stat and looking back my ego told me I could be enough for the both of us. Obviously we had some fun and she was also the most lovey dovey woman I'd ever been with. But that itself was wacko. One day she'd come home, sit on my lap, wrap her arms around me and praise me, then prove her affection in the bedroom. The next day she'd be throwing hard objects at me telling me how awful I was because I didn't come downstairs to greet her when she got home. Jekyll and Hyde.
Always listen to your gut, guys. I was a kunt hair away from calling off the wedding a week before we got married. Again, listen to your gut. The wife I have now is entirely the opposite in personality. Zero entitlement thinking. Been together over a decade, I can count on one hand our number of fights. She doesn't talk schit about me to her friends. Household chores are split, she pays half of the bills, she spends more time with the kids than I do. If anything I'm the one not putting up my half of things that need to get done.

Yes my first girlfriend I gave her the princess treatment
Put her in the back of my car while we were outrunning the paparazzi, crashed in a tunnel and she was decapitated
