Official 2023 Christmas Tree Thread - Pics/Questions/Jesus

I'm looking at these balsam hill vermont white spruce trees but $1200 for a fake tree? Idk.

Requirements:

Clean (no fake snow or sparkles or gay chit that flies everywhere I set it up or take it apart)
Lighting that doesn't go out if one bulb burns out or is removed (I think incandescent bulbs work like this but do LED?)

Might be worth checking out deals for leftovers after Christmas. We use a fake tree but in the $150 range. IMO LED lights look like chit on a tree indoors but there might be some out there that work. Best of luck m8.

I'm trying to set a tree up soon for mood gains.

I have a $400 one from Home Depot that's decent but it has fake snow and glitter on it that takes me a week to clean after I set it up or disassemble it.

Couldnt find a name on it, and wife threw away box and put in a large duffle, so really not sure. I think we got at costco or home depot one year after I got sick of cleaning up needles the day after christmas was 40 or 50% off. Nice to have a controller that changes light patterns/colors, and setup is 2 minutes, 3 sections just drop into each other, and little pins make the E-contract so not plugging wires together or anything
Fuark I have a bunch of unread pms I have to go through before I delete - I'm gonna try to delete an old one. Resend

I've noticed a few houses in the neighborhood who have strange Christmas tree habit. One puts up three trees, including one on the second floor and keeps them up until February. One puts two up side by side in a big picture window facing the street. The last oddball family puts up a tree but it's random whether or not they choose to decorate it from year to year.

Fair point. We usually take down the tree and the bulky decorations the weekend after New Years, and leave a strand or two of outdoor lights on for a week after that.

We got ours from Balsam Hill in the middle of the summer, to save $$$. Classic Blue Spruce 7.5'. Did not get lit version as you can purchase similar/better lighting separately for cheaper.

Quality is great.

Or Satan worshipper.

$1200 for a fake tree is a bit much right? Here, that is for the premium ones. Mostly around $200-600.

Real trees here are imported and can cost around $300.

It is about the decors and lighting to me. I switch it up yearly. Either type of decors or color.

You will spend a lot then. Mine is what? 7 feet only, which I feel is more than enough.

It will be a hassle but exciting to set it up. But to take it down can be a challenge and depressing.
