What are you struggling in with life right now?

I can't find a job or a GF, but I'm mainly looking for a job

Happiness. Can't even remember the last time I was actually happy. Mostly just numb and dead inside these days. Life won

Working a soul sucking office job I hate and still barely scraping by.

I’m also angry at the world because I basically did everything right. I graduated high school, never had kids out of wedlock, never became a junkie, don’t drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes, gamble, buy expensive stuff (literally haven’t bought myself new clothes or electronics in YEARS). All of the mistakes people I grew up around made, I avoided. I have stable habits. I don’t feel like I should be struggling, yet I am. It’s depressing mane.

ill be honest asf with you OP:

i am supposed to start a particular job in a couple months and go back to being a wage slave, starting at $83k, at $115k in 24mos, but i can make it pretty decently on my own, self employed (making $57k/yr) and if all else fails, Im sure i could pull some active duty time if absolutely need be.

So yeah, life is just honestly pretty fukking GOAT being my own boss, working when i damn well please. chit's hard to leave.

THAT SAID, if i found a remote job that paid $70k or more, id take that in an instant since it's not work that i hate. its the fukking commute and for this job coming up, having to move 1200 miles for it back to my home town.

Seeing the positive side of my work situation.......work from home, make 6 figures in a low cost area, have a ton of freedom (when I'm not slammed busy which unfortunately isn't many days).....just bored, not challenged and feel complacent and I am overloaded.....working 630am-6pm....and I could work longer and still be behind.

Wife keeps telling me to quit/find something else, I just have it too good right now and a "great salary" in this area would be like a 40-50k/year cut AND I'd have to go into an office/site daily.

Usually finish the work day totally drained/brain dead and just want to sit on the couch or do nothing....which is not like me at all....I used to hate sitting and doing nothing. I "live for the weekend" which I hate and just feel like life is piling up and I don't have time to do chit.

Same here bud, except for my wife it was a botched D&C as a result of a miscarriage. We tackled it head on. Embryos on ice, surrogate locked down, headed for legal contracts.

There's hope boyo, look into alternative means. We did many IFV cycles till we went a different direction.

And as a side note, I believe the technician used the following words to describe my swimmers:

robust
vibrant
tenacious
spirited
lively
energetic
sturdy
strong like bull

"Struggling"? Nothing.

But I'm thinking about a few things: (i) Where we want to 'establish roots'; (ii) Whether I should change my training setup to M-W-F (3x a week) and add more swimming; and (iii) Whether I am, in fact, a "sex addict".

Overall doing amazing.

Have you taken the SAST test vis the Christian book / video series "conquered"?

Sex addicts miss work to have sex and jerk off
Sex addicts cheat on spouses
Sex addicts sleep with ugly girls they are not attracted to a lot
Sex addicts lives are falling apart because they're jerking off so much

Most people are not sex addicts that think they are. High libido is normal and good.

Porn addict, that's a different story.

Watch the movie Black Snake Moan, that's a sex addict.

My patience. I like moving fast and having things move quickly even when its not realistic. I'm going to try retiring before 40 and want the whole process to speed up faster, but know its out of my hands.

Determining my next steps.

I've accomplished a lot. I have a good job/income. Good GF. Nice family. Enjoy my free time. I'm healthy. I'm debt free. Can just go on and on. Lots of good things going.

But deciding where to go next, is the hard part.

- My GF wants to move in (and for me to propose eventually, and to be willing for kids, eventually).
- My job wants to promote me, but it'll actually mean being salaried vs hourly, so possibly less income, and more responsibilities.
- My family (parents, brother, uncle) need financial help, and I'm kinda unwilling TBH.
- Kinda wanna give my cat a new cat/kitten friend. I think it would make her happier, but would be more finances/time obviously on my end.

AKA, 1st world problems. NOT 3rd world at all.
