Because they put their self worth in their partner who, in reality, is putting in ALL the worth b/c the incel is worth nothing and they know it. That's why they have such high standards. That, and they know they're batting out of their league and would get turned down, so they don't try so they don't have to deal with the failure, which would crush them.

It would be unfair of you to discount the very real social disease that exists in the USA today that makes it incredibly hard for young men to have healthy relationships, whether that be with the opposite sex or just friends.

Our Society is screwed up, and young men are victims in this whether you admit it or not. No one chooses the world they’re born in. Some people never had a chance to begin with. Others get lucky
