What's a red flag in a bro?

For me it's talking about me behind my back in a negative manner, something like that can't be repaired.

Used to work with a guy who would talk chit about a co worker, and his family life. I thought to myself dude I'm here to work and leave why are you gossiping about other people that's female chit.

You loan him some money or in my case I paid for his food and drinks a couple times when we would go out and whenever it was his turn to pay he would come up with lame excuses and bitch out. He would say he's low on money then he started talking about all the Playstation games and iPhones he was buying.

So I lent a guy around a grand a year ago. He's a mechanic so I just say "you're in a pinch, happy to help, you can just work it off Bro." He did one $400 job for me then got pretty distant.

I reached out a couple times, always some BS about behind on his rent, hurt his back or whatever. I like the guy, but I think he may be tweaking.

I haven't mentioned this to anyone. I live in a small town and if I told one person, everyone would know within a week, reputations are EXTREMELY important here.
