I'm impressed how long they managed to milk the franchise. Iron Man came out 15 years ago and they've made 44 movies since then, $30bn+ in revenue (not including toy sales)

The gravy train had to come to an end some day.

It was the tee up to End Game. People didn't know who Brie Larson was, thankfully for Marvel.

I wonder if this one will even gross $150 million domestically.

Even more hilarious is the Snow White fiasco. I don't think that one will ever actually be released.

Aren't you the serious. Man who thinks he's Spartacus and looks down on men who still enjoy and hold on to things from their childhood that still bring them entertainment and happjnness..

I can tell you are probably one of those guys who never smiles and never has a good thing to say about anyone or anything and if you do have a gf or wife they probably sit on silent embarrassment when you go out while you spew your opinions of downing any and all people who don't think like you do.

It's closer to $300 million after reshoots. Let's say conservatively they spent another $150 million on marketing putting the total cost at $450 million. After the theater take, the movie's worldwide gross breakeven point is around $900 million. This movie is on track to top off at around $200 million meaning -$700 million loss.

Of course it was gonna do bad.

One of the marvels had her own Disney plus show and it was getting bodied by the reviews. Of course review bombing by the evil men was blamed.

Captain Marvel only did well because it was released perfectly between the two last marvel avengers movies.

If Marvel and Disney wanted money they’d reboot Blade, and keep it R rated.

It's not Disney but im pretty sure the Zelda movie is going to be destroyed by woke political bs.

There is little hope for it. Myamto is suppose to be at the helm of it so if there is any hope at all for it its going to be him. Zelda is really his legacy so hopefully he respects and cherishes ot enough to protect it

"review bombing" has become the go-to excuse for bad media being reviewed poorly. It's so obvious and lame. Yet when big budget garbage gets highly praised by bots they don't make a peep.

The Marvel movies have really fallen off. My son and I always watch them but I don't even know what this one is about. I don't have cable so no commercials and not interested enough to look into it. Was not a fan of Captain Marvel.

Imagine that a movie starring four women (if you include the terrible villain) that nobody cares about would flop. It's like Marvel has no idea that nerdy men make up at least 80% of their customer base.

As soon as they did a female Black Panther they were done. And apparently Young Avengers project already has three girls slated on the team. How much money do they have to lose before they start back to women being side characters and love interests only again?
