Two possible things going on here IMO

1. They think that 5 days is enough time to give themselves a much better chance.
2. They know it will be refused and want to damage Israel’s political leadership.

One of those rock and hard place suggestions.

Hamas is making the IDF pay hard in close combat hence the savage bombing campaign which is pure war atrocity and war crimes by any metric.

The zionists are hate filled and angry and scared all at the same. Hamas is offering a trade because the zionist filth is purposely targeting hospitals and churches and mosques as well as fleeing refugees.

I hope with all the evidence recorded of the genocide and war crimes that one day soon there will be "Nuremberg trials" for the zionists and many shabbos goyim.

Hezbolah is slapping around the IDF in the north and up close in the south hamas is slapping around the IDF. The coward IDF can only bomb children and seniors or wounded Hamas from a far far away distance. They then inflate hamas deaths and pretend all the IDF deaths are not happening.

Pretty sure two is the answer. It's amazing watching a bunch of savages embarrass Israel time and time again. Hamas can't win the war but they are certainly winning the propaganda fight.
