Simp cringe at work

Alright so HR started championing this new thing where they put out this little stuffed animal turkey, calling it a "Thanks-For-Giving Turkey" which you pass off to co-workers when they help you out with something or want to show gratitude.

Well it turns out the same two women (the "hot" women at work) keep getting it passed off to them, and they keep saying
"Jared just gave it to me tee hee I don't know what I did"
"Michael just said he wanted me to have it tee hee iunno iunno"
"Jose said I helped him find his keys but he's the one who found them"
And on and on

Then upper management and HR get involved and start having lectures with us during meetings that you can't give the Thanks-For-Giving Turkey out without just cause and a demonstrable act of teamwork and willingness to help others.

But naturally it continues, the Thanks-For-Giving Turkey keeps getting passed around to the same like 6 people who keep handing it back off to those two girls. So now HR and Ops Managers have taken the turkey away.

Work hasn't been the same since. It will never be mine turn

There used to be a time when they passed out real turkeys to all the employees. Do places still do that anymore?

They used to give us turkeys but ran into too many hassles with whatever distributors they had on call. Now they just give us Safeway coupons for a free turkey. Lmao just lmao

Because they're not playing Pass The Turkey correctly and abusing the system. There is some decorum that needs to be upheld and HR was on the case.
