ChatGPT is actually chit right?

Sure the responses are entertaining but they're all so generic.

They're also totally useless for writing any kind of document in the real world.

By that I mean it can write a decent paper on Napoleon (immediately recognizable as AI written, though)

But it can't write any documents which are actually useful, like a letter of recommendation, or specifications for equipment.

I'm using version 3.5, did they nerf it so they could get more subscriptions to 4.0?

The best thing about these AI's is getting them to create images for you. Responses are basically programmed Google responses.

4 is worth the money.

If it sounds generic, tell it not to sound generic. If you can tell it's AI, tell it to respond in a way that doesn't sound like AI.

It's that smart, you can tell it what to do. It can write a letter of recommendation.

Try using GPT 4, it's exponentially more intelligent and powerful, especially for creative tasks. E.g when explaining a complex idea, GPT can even make an AI generated picture to help explain.

Whilst I wouldn't have it write me something word for word, I use it all the time to brainstorm ideas and simplify my explanations/give examples. For that, it's extremely useful.
Back off, Warchild.

Seriously.
