Rate dinner and dessert/10

Made some beef stew, cornbread and a cherry pie for dessert. It's been a while since I've made a pie and cherry is my fav.

Happy Tuesday!

I like the stew, not a fan of Cherry Pie.

I'm having a couple pints and then some chicken.

I've never heard of that beer, what's it taste like? I have a lot of beer drinking friends so maybe I can find some for the holidays.

Cherry isn't a fav for most but it is for me. I always bake for others but not this time.

Damn. Mirin. 10/10.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

Not a fan of onions or cooked celery but I did use onion powder. Could serve over rice but there's already enough potatoes.
