What’s your policy concerning affirmative action?

I think the person most qualified should get the job, if he’s white, he gets the job. If that person is black, he gets the job. The problem is some people won’t hire minorities, so that complicated things. But forcing people to hire a certain threshold of minorities seems wrong, too.

What’s your opinion in this?
Exercise will get you through times of ill health better than no exercise will get you through times of good health.

we hired one AA out of diversity (i work in tech) and he had zero clue how to do his job. we still didn't fire him even knowing this. affirmative action is chit and should be illegal

Let the person who is best qualified get the job. Funny enough, it isn't blacks who benefit the most from affirmative action, it's white women.

Its stupid.

Why in hell would a company or school want people there that are less qualified just because of skin color or sex or whatever. Nothing would ever get done right. Eventually they would get replaced by someone qualified and they would hire another non qualified person for a different job.

Why waste all that time and effort when you could just have done it right the first time.

As a Latino and a Republican I’m between a rock and a hard place with this issue. Latinos in my family might say I’m a race traitor for not defending affirmative action.
