I tried remote play on my ps4 pro and it was pretty bad. I assume the ps5 has a better wifi chip.

LOL it's kind of true, but in the same sense this is sort of exactly why this is probably a good device for Sony. It makes more sense for them to offer their own officially branded device to use remote play instead of being cucked by ipads

Brb using this with my phone... Kills battery and can't actually use the fuking phone while gaming. Also gotta buy a stand/backbone for $100.

Brb using this with my iPad, oh chit now I gotta use the touch screen or get more lag with a Bluetooth controller.

Brb using this on my PC, damn now I gotta boot up my PC every time then get zero portability because I'm stuck being hunched over my desk like a dork.

I probably won't buy one of these portals but you press one button to remotely turn it on, you get a screen that's way bigger than your phone, will be able to use your phone to do other chit, and you got a built in dualsense controller with full haptics. A controller is already $70 so you get all that extra stuff for $130 more. Not a bad deal at all.

Why/howwould I use this on my PC when I would have already had to buy a Playstation and hook it up to my monitor and surround sound setup?
I will stand firm, I refuse to kneel - The fury in me is divine
My dark grave awaits, my fate is revealed - But I'm not afraid to die

Not really, those only work in a few countries.

It's easy to point fingers and laugh at Sony, but remote play and cloud streaming is still pathetic on their part.
If any of Microsofts lies are to believed, XCloud is gonna take another leap forward next year (should of been this year).
