I just had a chit and it vanished

I just had a chit and when it was coming out I thought "It's not snapping" so I knew it was a lengthy one, maybe 10" or 12" long. I shat out another smaller lump, clenched my arse to make sure I nipped off any other bits then I got off the toilet to look at what I had produced AND ALL THAT WAS THERE WAS THE LITTLE BIT. I think the main large turd had dumped so hard into the water that it slid up and into the u bend. I was almost in tears, because I don't remember having a chit that long since I was a kid. I just wanted to see it and it wasn't there.

Has anyone else had a chit just vanish like that?

I can't believe it wasn't there when I looked. I have no idea how this is possible.

I remember I had a chit so big at a friend of a familys house that i blocked the toilet, i had to take it out with my hand (used glove), break it in half and then flush one half down the toilet and throw the other half away out the window

As I've got older my chits have reduced in diameter. I remember ones as a kid that were insane (fat and long) but they are definitely thinner now. I think my arse or my insides must be messed up, coated with years of junk food or whatever. To create a long chit now is a miracle, that's why I was so disheartened when I looked to check on it and it wasn't there. All that effort for nothing.
