This is kind of a silly way to look at this when you look at your body in terms of muscle groups

General muscle groups being neck, traps/upper back, shoulders, biceps, triceps, chest, lats, forearms, abs, obliques, quads, glutes, hamstrings, calves

Maybe I missed 1-2 things and I'm not getting super technical but generally, those are all the different muscle groups you'd want to hit for a balanced physique

That's roughly 40% of the muscle groups that are considered lower body

So it would make sense that 40% of your weight training would be focused on lower body or "legs" (Legs/abs/obliques) and the other 60% focused on upper body

So 1-2 lower body days a week with 3 (or even 4) upper body days a week actually makes a lot of sense

Especially when you consider a lot of your smaller muscle groups are in the upper body and can typically be trained more frequently because they recover quicker
