Best car ever made. $3m.

Damn.

No adaptive damper on the suspension, no power assisted steering, naturally aspirated V12 engine, clutch and shifter (no paddles), REVS TO 12,000 rpm, has a wheelbase length the same as a miata, weighs 2,198 pounds, centrally positioned driver's seat, 3 seats total, lots of trunk space.

I'm still not sold on the fan in the back. Maybe it'll grow on me but for now it just looks strange.

The T33 has better aesthetics, imo

Every single aspect of the McLaren F1 has been improved in this car. literally every measurable metric. Gordon Murray said so himself.

Well except maybe aesthetics.

Funny how this thing only has about 600+ HP yet it's so much more exciting and interesting than all these 1000+ HP hypercars they have had lately.

It's just such a pure exotic. No bullchit hybrid tech, no flappy paddles, no unnecessary weight, no unusable race car splitters, just a pure drivers car.

the newest corvette weighs 3890 pounds, SF90 is 3,590 pounds.... It's as if the engineers aren't even trying anymore....

the T50 is 2,198 pounds..... Let that sink in.

I'd agree they could have done better aesthetics on the headlights, but other than that it's fukin gold.

the engineering of it in regards to all the things I listed is so far above and beyond anything else ever made for the road it's actually hard to believe.

Actually, upon further thought, I think the camera-style rear-view mirrors are a miss, and also the power windows aren't great (should have been manual crank windows, especially considering the driver could theoretically reach the crank handles on both doors from sitting in the middle)

Gordon was saying the negative impact on aero was HUGE with regular rear-view mirrors, but I think that's less important than the analog theme of the car... OR just make the rearview mirrors to aid in downforce and/or overall aero benefit.

That car is pretty cool and the center position is pretty neat but you could buy a 100k lotus and get 90% of the same experience
