Were Obama and Bill Clinton moderate right?

I was at dinner with my Lefty cousins.(at a rich place because they don't usually like to deal with the plebs). They said that Obama,Bill Clinton,Hillary,JFK and even FDR were all to the right of center. They also said they were semi-successful presidents. I didn't get a chance to hit back at this. So moderate right can be very successful? How is Trump that far to the right of any of those people? Wouldn't that mean that most successful presidents were center right(lincoln,jefferson,washington,Eisenhower)

There seems to be a pattern on both sides that when the previous president is "perceived" as far or extreme in one direction, the party/voters swing to the opposite side.

You needed a Bush to get an Obama, and you needed a Trump to get a Biden; of course this depends on how you view each person.
There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!
