Is joining a band no longer an option to get girls?

What happened to incels learning an instrument and forming/joining a band to get laid?

Didn't that work from 1950's on through the decades?

Is that no longer an option for dudes having bad luck getting laid?

Do people even go see live music at bars and clubs anymore ?

Of course they do, at least in NYC. Don't listen to the incels on this forum - folks still get laid. Even low test specimens who 'sing' get laid.

Do you honestly think losers that can't get laid will be able to socially integrate with a band and perform in front of a crowd? Even if they are musically talented their problem is they are social retards.

Music has moved on.

The drums/guitar/bass/singer thing Is so old fashioned now.

Best thing for a musician to do would be to get equipment needed to become a *ahem* "DeeJaay" or whatever.

You make a instagram of you recording a stupid sound like a dog bark and then make it into a really basic beat that *ahem* "slaps"

And that's what musicians have to look forward to now.

you can play whatever pop music the kids listen to with drums, bass, keys and guitars and get a reaction from young people if you aren't a miscer. young people still go out to see bands. i don't know where you people live, but it is extremely common. quaity cover bands, weird fuking sub genre'd freak show bands that can't play their instruments and are all gimmick....kids are going to all of that chit.

A lot of women don't listen to music that necessitates a band, anymore. Also the fact that any douche can walk into Guitar Center and learn Wonderwall or some Taylor Swift song, isn't helping. Playing an instrument proficiently doesn't get them going like it used to.

Depends on your demographic. Younger guys go country or hip hop and you're golden, lots of women throwing themselves at you. Rock with the younger crowd is kind of done.

Older, rock is still an option. I have been the lead singer of an alt rock cover band for years but the only women throwing themselves at me are my age. It also really helped with my Tinder profile because I had pro stage photos and women love to be groupies.
