Beef and pork are way better.

I eat a turkey breast tenderloin every day for lunch. Comes out great if you spray it with avocado oil and air fryer it

part of the dryness issue is that people carve it with the grain, if you cut against the grain it will not appear nearly as dry

Butter rub
Season
Rub again
Stuff with seasonings +2 apples
Cover and bake
Remove cover 30 minutes before done

I won't lie, I never liked turkey that much aside from using it in basic stuff like lunch meats. Baking one straight up is arguably the most overrated food ever. OP is right, it's always dry. Even when I eat turkey that other people claim they love and is juicy, it seems dry to me unless I drench it in gravy.

The fact that cooking a full turkey is such a pita is icing on the cake. I'd way rather eat farm raised duck or something for Thanksgiving, but everyone is always hellbent on turkey and acts like there's something wrong with you if you dare consider another meat.
