It absolutely does. Lately I’ve been drinking too heavily/regularly again and look like chit. Will be taking another long break soon. Oddly enough I’m losing weight despite the extra calories because I feel like eating less. Just making me look haggard though.

I can't confirm.or dent. I don't even pay attention to that anymore. I try and look my best but I don't fret over it like I use to.

I do know since I cut out all booze I feel extremely better.

Bro, I was the same way. I looked late 20s right up to the time I was turning 40. Trust me it catches up. Can't say for sure it was all the drinking I did or other vile habits I had but time catches up to us all .

I could be in far worse shape though when ot comes to health and looks so I ain't complaining.

That isnt due to alcohol tho that could just be genetics.

and stress causes alot of aging as well

drinking also impacts sleep quality...then you have people that smoke when they drink...cigs or weed. probably eat junk while drinking. hangovers feeling like crap the following days. chaotic schedule...probably other problems like a stressful job or relationship pushing them to drink

You can always tell if someone is an alcoholic just by looking at their face. They get wrinkly, pale, flush with redness on their cheeks and nose, dark circles under their eyes. It’s a sad sight.

Check mate

And this is not self proclaimed. I get it all the time.

Bad diet and alcohol is gonna age you, I never said it’s the MOST damaging but it makes a signifcant difference, you’re coping if you say otherwise

You didnt specify how much alcohol. 3-4 drinks per week will not age anyone. If someone is downing a bottle of whiskey once per week then I agree it will definitly age them. But having a good diet and drinking lots of water can reverse alot of the effects of alcohol. I think stress and long exposure to sunlight does more damage to aging than moderate drinking. I have friends who are lifeguards in their mid twenties and they already look 30. Same with guys who work in stressful jobs or have stressful relationships

but imagine that alcohol accumulating over years, same with sugar (bad diet), bro it addd up and does damage even if it’s just moderate. I ain’t tryna go out like that, I’m done with sugar, alcohol and all dat ****
