Anybody else lack empathy? (srs)
-Saw my dying grandma the other day, didn't feel a thing. Don't want her to pass cos I'm gonna have to fake being sad to my mum
-Few years back, my grandad was dying too, spent those days going beach with my cousin. Sister said it was inappropriate but I was on my holiday
-Recently found out I lack empathy at my work too. I deal with corporate bank customers, and sometimes have to deal with tough calls. Bereavements, complaints etc. I find I just don't give a **** what they tell me. Broke their arm, I don't give a ****. Lost their card, I don't give a ****. Fraud on their account, no ****s given.
-I just want to do my job, whatever solutions I can get to help them. I sometimes have to deal with vulnerable people, and I hate having to deal with it. If I can sack it off, I will.
Anybody else?

That sort of **** is a risk cos my work is highly regulated and monitored. So if I advise against what a manager does, and someone finds out, senior management will probably have a word.
Managed to sort all their **** out tho. Have no idea how some managers get their position lol. I've only been at my role for like 7 months and I **** on these managers that have been here for years

Yep. Not sure why. Must been something while growing up. I was recently called cold-hearted.

I've been reading the 48 Laws. The only useful thing about empathy is that allows you to understand and penetrate the minds of others, so you can better manage and manipulate them.
