Saw this a couple days ago, watched entire thing twice. Looks really good man, I was comparing to my PS4 version which I'm playing currently and makes mine look like ass lol esp with the horrible draw distances and pop ins. Fuk, when will it be mine turn for a remaster. Sony pls

Nah Forbidden West still miles ahead esp when it comes to textures, assets and esp character models/animation. It's gonna look crazy when the PC version comes out and im already jellin. If PS5 Pro doesn't come out with a pro mode I'm getting a 5090 for PC and calling it a day.

Nah even regular PS5 can do this. The RT isn't that crazy of a difference and the PC port of Zero Dawn is optimized like hot ass. Also note that it's rendering in 8k in this video. The standout to me isn't the RT as much as the fidelity and draw distances.

Zero Dawn's PS4 version is not demanding at all, it never has much going on, even the one in this video looks nowhere as good as Forbidden West. I can see them doing a 4k remaster with some soft RT like what's done in Spiderman and running fine on PS5. Spiderman 2 itself would be more demanding

Supposedly the PC version runs pretty well now. No, the PS5 can't do that.

It looks that good due to the RT.

Dude Forbidden West looks far better than this in every way, minus the resolution. It's the chitty PC optimization on top of 8k that's the most taxing here. Higher textures, much better draw distances and 8k is doing most of the transformative work. The RT here is some really basic stuff, it's certainly no AW2 or Cyberpunk.

A PS5 remaster obviously won't do 8k but it can definitely do everything else I'm seeing here and more.

I get you. I'm on a 3090 Strix, but would like the 5 series to be out (5090Ti pls) so I can max out everything at 144Hz on my QD OLED srs.

Cope. This vid already looks much better than OP video and is at 4k on PS5. An equivalent PC card will not look as good because Sony games are optimized to the gills to run on PlayStation. Accept it already.

Eh, not really impressive, just looks like regular PC mode at ultra graphics... the rtx implementation isn't done that well I think.

Just beat this game and am playing birnimg shores dlc now. Game is absolutely epic. The graphics on PS5 were incredible. Can't beloeve what it looks like with full ray tracing.

What spear is she using? That thing is powerful as fuk. Must be a mod.

Edit: nevrmind. Just realized this is HZD not Forbidden West.

Because a high end PC is overall more powerful and is able to brute force the optimization shortcomings, duh. TLOU1 looks better on a 4090 PC than a PS5 even though the PS5 version is more optimized. Forbidden West will also look better on PC. This was never my argument, stop being daft. A PS5 game made specifically for the PS5 will be better optimized than a PC port made by a porting studio. This isn't controversial.
