The cast of Mortal Kombat aged FANTASTIC - except for Lui Kang

Everybody looking aesthetic well into their 60s and 70s.

Poor Robin Shou, heard he decided to quit hollywood cause he was getting sh/t roles due to his extremely ethnic appearance.

All the boyo had to do was get a damn haircut and re-brand himself from a martial arts actor to more of a method actor or a support actor. An example of this is Mads Mikkelson, he primarily only plays support roles in films but he gets tons of work and is successful by hollywood standards.

Robin Shou bit/ches and moans about hollywood typecasting him as a martial arts guy, and yet he perpetuated that stereotype by never presenting himself as anything but a martial arts guy.

Even Shang Tsung aged well.

Just rewatched the 2021 remake on prime

Goddamn it did not age well

When it came out I was just enthusiastic about it and gave it a 6.5/10 based on nostalgia and features

Rewatching it was painful

Cringy lines
**** plot
Even butchered the theme song

5/10 very very meh
