Man shows up to exes' house to pickup son, exe's new BF shoots man

Case is about a year or two old, not sure if they had court ordered paperwork as far as custody and visitation. Apparently the shooter didn't catch any charges and it was ruled self-defense but that doesn't sit entirely right with me. Thoughts? I feel the shooter needlessly escalated the confrontation.

No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

It was ruled self-defense from my understanding because the guy in the blue grabbed the gun, but I agree dude in the black was a scumbag there was no reason to get the gun in the first place. I'd simply call the police and have him trespassed off the property if it was that big of a deal. I could see how it might be an issue if he had tried to force his way inside the home though.

doesn't matter, he had no right to stay once the guy told him to leave his property, and no right to threaten to take his gun, and then actually put his hands on his gun and tried to take it.

Some liberal states tell you you can’t defend yourself on your own property, I’m assuming this ain’t one of them. If this happened more often to trespassers, there would be less people doing it.
Dad should’ve left the property, called the cops and told them that the kids mother is keeping him from seeing him. If it happens often enough, dad would get custody.

Chad Read had been told several times to leave the property then he threatened to kill Kyle Carruth after advancing up on the porch and in his face.

Chad hadn’t lived there in her was remarried so it’s not like he was some poor divorced dad that had been put through the wringer, it seemed like him and his wife Jennifer were causing issues. Jennifer even tried to sue for custody after Chad’s death the judge was like “wtf lol no dismissed”

1) Blue shirt was trespassing on the shotgun guy's property.
2) Shotgun guy asked blue shirt guy to leave.
3) Blue shirt guy decides to wrestle shotgun guy while shotgun guy is armed
