Why do protestants keep promoting «freedom», «free speech» & «freedom of religion» when it does nothing but cause moral decay in society?

I am a evangelical-lutheran myself but i am starting to think the reformation was the Worst thing to ever happen to Christianity.
We stopped making laws based on christian values & started worshipping our monarchs instead & in turn secular man made laws.

What are even «christian Conservatives» trying to conserve? A liberal secular constitution? Might aswell remove the «christian» part of your identity.
