Need help processing my fk up

went on a first date, chat for ~3 hrs over 2 rounds. The convo is decent-good, there's minor touching etc. Waiter comes over with the bill. I pay and she gives me half in cash. I stupidly accept (sure, if the date was chit but I'd actually like to see her again. Why the fk did I accept...). My card declines (PHUCK, I have enough, just had the $ in my savings account). We walk outside the place and she asks me for a kiss. Kiss a couple times but just on the lips. At this point I'm still rocked by my card declining, so I forget to ask her to text me once she's home.

Is this chit salvageable? plan to text her tomorrow, but I'm pissed at myself. haven't been on a date in a while so I'm just rusty in general

Here is the deal. If she's pretty in the least. You taking her half of the bill was a good move on your part. Now if you came out and asked for it thT would have been bad especially if you asked her out but since she offered it. She is probably use to guys paying for everything and trying to buy her attention and time. You not doing that makes you stick out that you aren't going to kiss her azz or try and buy her affections just because she has a nice body and a pretty smile..


With that said if you get the second date. If she offers again refuse it and say you got it.

Since your card declined, I take it she picked up the entire dinner bill? Bad credit is a huge turn off. It shows your finances are a mess. if she's also sloppy with her cash, she might bumble forward into some kind of relationship with you, but anyone with any kind of self preservation would run like hell. I would.

Nah I got the bill in the end. Have a cheque & savings account. Just had to move $ from one into the other. I actually did this beforehand but forgot about a purchase I made, hence why it declined
