Why doesn’t US end this senseless conflict in Israel

Would be so easy. Stop dragging feet and give IDF the support they need to finish this thing, simultaneously begin a massive air evacuation campaign of Palestinian refugees and just settle them in the US. It’s only 2 million people, drop in the bucket for us to handle here and that way we can finally have peace in the Middle East.
