What if hospitals didn't have to provide ER care without assurances of payments?

1. It would probably cut back on a lot of illegal immigration because that's how a lot of immigrants receive the type of care that insured receive from a primary physician.
2. A lot of seriously injured/ill uninsured people would probably just die.
3. Those are just in the short term. In the long term, the results of a policy like that would just galvanize the left toward implementing full public/social healthcare that covered everybody.

Would cut down on every Mexican with a belly or headache running to the ER and would allow people who really need to be there getting treated faster

Healthcare would become affordable and the population of dumb irresponsible people would be culled.
Even if healthcare coverage was only $100 a month, a good portion of the population wouldn't buy it because it's more than what they are paying now and it digs into their drug money.
