Will the birds die if I feed them old bird food?

I have had this outdoor bird food (packaged bird suet).sitting in my fridge for like 3 years now. Will the birds get sick or die if I put it out now?

Should I toss it, or put it out in the bird feeder?

seeds don't really expire. Unless there's visible mold they should be fine. birds eat far worse in the wild and live just fine (like McDonalds french fries)

Capture one bird with a net and bring it inside and feed it the food and see what happens. If it lives, roll the food out to the rest of the bird community.

It is a suet food that has fhis mush feed stuff surrounding the seeds. idk if it expires, or hos long it has. I do know all 8 blocks would be gone in less than a week lol

You have a point about the french fries, though. Lol when people feed seagills a box of McDonalds fries.
