Im about to say "FAWK IT"

And get a construction job making 75k a year.

I was gonna go back in IT but the roles I qualify for pay like 40-50k a year, and yes I realize theres growth.

If you can sustain your life at 50k, take the IT job, ask for more responsibilities, add new tech skills to your resume.

Study for certs in the current technologies you’re working with on a daily basis, makes those certs easier to obtain.

Then you’ll be able to move up into better paying roles.

Also I hate that commie POS Reddit site, but it’s a crazy good resource for all things IT.

People don't last for a reason. Do it young and get out in hopes you saved enough money if you are not a complete moron. Let's face it, most of them are.

If you want to do trades, go specialized. Get training school wise or some entry and work your way up.

I lowkey wanna get into trades just based on my complete lack of knowledge and handyman skills.

but its actual hard work so..
imagine doing that all day and then trying to go to the gym after for 3 hours.. No way.
maybe part time or something.

Tradie jobs will be around forever. You'll have job security if you aren't retarded. You'll start making more money because less people want to go into those fields and do anything physical. You learn a very valuable skill.

The downside is the physical/health aspect. I'm tradie adjacent in a warehouse setting and I'm at the point of physically being too old to deal with being on my feet 12 hours a day, let alone being like a carpenter or something. You're probably better off going your own business with a trade after you learn the skill.

The other side is better overall financial opportunity and growth down the line. You don't have to be on your feet all day doing laborious work either. But you do have to deal with imbeciles, corporate structure and systems, and all of that BS.

Idk up to you. At this point just pick one and go all in on it.
