How much are you losing per week now and what's your calorie level?

You can cut 20 calories per lbs of bodyfat.
This is why fat people can lose fast.
This is also why skinny people burn muscle when they cut.

How fat are you OP? That will determine how fast you can lose weight.
If you're not very overweight, 1 or 2lb a week isn't that hard for a nice healthy cut.
If you're hella overweight you can easily do 10-20 pounds in a month.
But it's 99% diet. Exercise isn't gonna cut it.

honestly.. i've lost about 20lbs since i started. i want a bit more
the only thing that throws me off is i cheat once a week. and then every now and then im late from work and only have so much time so i eat a lot of sodium or something and that throws chit off
otherwise, ive been doing it pretty successfully.
ive also waivered between intermittent fasting and old school complex carb + keeping insulin even keel
intermittent fasting has been good but for the brief period i went old school i almost think it went faster..

If you think about it, you can dedicate a year to a proper deficit and get lean af (lose only 1lb per week to retain most of your muscle mass). That’s no time in the grand scheme of things. Then you just lean gain from there on out and you’ll look like a fitness model

I'll give you a serious response...
So I'm about 6 months into a cut right now, and have been somewhat of a yo-yo dieter for the past 10 years.
Most of the time I lose the weight in like 2 months, and then party my ass off and end up gaining it back over the following 6 months. This time though, I've been losing it slowiy over 6 months and have made some genuine lifestyle changes along the way. Always do cardio no matter if I'm on vacation or at home. Never get too out of control with my eating and drinking. And I'm noticing that I keep losing weight even when I have a week where my eating isn't quite as controlled.
Fat people either eat too much or have too little activity. If you make a point to control at least one of those two things at all times and refuse to go full bloatlord where you're eating 6000 cal per day and sitting on the couch, it's not difficult to keep it together. And although losing weight "the right way" takes forever and is a total pain in the ass, it's worth it because you need to reach a point where you completely change your lifestyle.

You know what's crazy? I dropped weight for my August vacation, and checking my sh*t now I see I'm back to where I was when I started, and it took about thr same time to get it back as it did to lose it.
So, take heart My son. For whether you reach your goal or not, thr same amount of time will have passed when the bell rings, so might as well do it having reached your goal
