Doing a presentation for my boss and some of the other upper management
Things are going well, lots of positive feedback and discussion
Boss makes a comment/joke towards the end about me overcompensating with the size of my bar charts
Co-workers chuckle but I have a lightbulb moment thinking back to Britbong words I've read on the Misc
Strike back with "at least I'm not a nonce mate" in my best British accent
Awkwardness and confusion from the room except the boss glaring into my soul
"What's a nonce?" "He called you a what?"
Quickly finish up presentation and leave room ASAP
Boss approaches during lunch, says it was very unprofessional for me to call him a peedo and is not very impressed


Today I found out "nonce" is not a polite Britbong way to call someone an azzhole or "wanker", I instead called him a peedo
