Haven't read a book since I finished highschool. What the hell is wrong with you?

Why would anyone willingly put themselves through that?

Any of his other books are great, too

Too many but I always have some in my mind to recommend.

Currently. I'm listening to the audiobooks:

The Wheel of Time.

My all-time favorite:

Forgotten Realms,The Dark Elf (Drizzt) series

The authorRobert A. Salvatoreis the same age as I, 64, and still lifts weights.

Riding Rockets: The Outrageous Tales of a Space Shuttle Astronaut

Great book and very interesting look at how Nasa and the space shuttle worked. Goes into great detail about how scary launches and landing are and the whole thing. Guy is funny too so that makes it even better.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda
