Worst Dating Advice: Shoot your shot and don’t care about rejection

You’re not going to get better or more experienced talking to girls and getting rejected over and over again. It doesn’t build resilience or help grow confidence. All it does is mean you went up to a large quantity of women and not one of them wanted you. It will hurt your self esteem, ego and make you think you’re even more undesirable.

You may improve your approaches or speaking ability by a tiny amount but that doesn’t matter cause the only people doing large mass approaches to try meet girls are incels, losers and PUA guys. These misc/redditors never had a chance, it never began for them so getting rejected multiple times will just lead to that…lots of rejections all while still being in the position: inceldom.

“Just shoot your shot bro”
“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”
“Who cares if she says no bro, you’ll never see her again”
“Just talk to her bro, it shows your confidence”

This is all useless NPC advice.

I've actually turned rejections into lays basically because it didn't affect me at all. All it takes is a few times succeeding to give you the confidence to basically be up front with these hoes.

I think the logic behind this advice is passively telling you to lower your standards and realize you are not worthy enough to bag the hot women you ask out.

Comes down to being intentional and having situational awareness. Sure - running around the street and cat calling random bitches won't get you far. At the same time, part of the process is recognizing the time and place where you can shoot your shot and get something out of it. That comes with experience, and it's better to overdo it, then do nothing and sit on misc and cry.

No one does that though. No incel here or on reddit runs up cat calling randoms (only construction workers in NYC do that).

They take the NPC advice of trying things like complimenting her outfit or hair or shoes and try to extract a conversation and connection with the girl that way. That doesn’t work unless you’re good looking and have great social skills.

Naturally if someone keeps approaching they’ll gain experience and start to pick up tips and tricks on how to talk to girls. But they’re not gonna find a girl to date this way.

They will improve talking skills a bit but still end up getting mass rejections. The difference between the early rejections when inexperienced and the layer rejections when experienced will be a few minutes of conversation from start to the rejection.

Inexperienced pick up attempt:
Incel: h, h, hey ummm you look cute and I was wondering if if y, y, you…
Her: ummm no sorry. *walks always*

Experienced pick up attempt:
Incel: hey I like your dress/hair/accessory etc, *2-5 mins of natural conversation*
Would you like to grab a drink or coffee sometime?
Her: No sorry, you’re sweet but I have a boyfriend/dont give my number to strangers/easy let down rejection.
