Days Gone had a great Crazy Taxu mode as part of it's DLC for anyone who hasn't played it, thing slaps hard.

Not too fussed about Crazy Taxi but Shenobi and Golden Axe games being in development caught my attention.

I won't get too excited tho cos I tend to feel that Sega is a shadow of the developer it once was.

I give it the benefit of the doubt, a game like Crazy Taxi is hard to get wrong imo

only thing they shouldn't do is steer too far from the OG arcade feeling

take the skeloton there is put it in a modern coat and call it a day lol

the other franchises are a bit more prone to hit or miss I feel

Funny thing is a game like Crazy Taxi will never get any attention beyond an announcement like this at a video games award show, yet it gets more people excited than anything else. Says everything really.

my love for the game comes from playing it on console though

first on Gamecube, later on Dreamcast (had a GC before I had a DC lol)

Dreamcast became my main since we had CT2 on there as well ayyyyyy

for not needing to hook up my DC I always have the XBLA version installed but with the different soundtrack and remove of the franchises (Pizza Hut, Levis, ...) it's just not the same lmfao

but I feel GOOD arcade styled games have been lacking far a while now, really hoping this can provide some of the fun and energy for short playsessions that can keep you interested for years

fuk I've been playing the OG for over 20 years now and I still enjoy it
