It was good at launch if you weren't playing it on a peasant console.
With the latest patches it's truly a 9+/10 game. DLC is incredible too.

It was always a decent game.
Now it's very good ... It's very much the initial vision that cdpr marketed and envisioned for the game in its current state.

It's good.
Story is intriguing and a bit different.
It's not really a good RPG but the biggest pro for me is how it lets you approach combat.
Biggest cons are probably the bad driving mechanics and that none of the characters are really that likeable. Keeanu Reeves seems like a nice guy, but you'll want to stove his head in after playing this.

Always been a great game but the great things about it (story, characters, lore, questions about life - existentialism, etc) were buried under all the talks about its technical issues on old gen consoles. Game really shouldn't have released on old gen.
If you're the type that wants to get to know everything about the RPG you're playing, big chance that this will be for you because it has a rich lore that has been written and have continued to evolve since the late 80s (its from a TTRPG)
Been playing RPGs since the 90s and when it comes to character builds, this game is probably the RPG that gave me the most freedom. As for your choices in the game, I've heard a lot of criticisms (Phantom Liberty is exempt from this) that they don't matter, but so many of them actually do, even your choices in gigs. The problem is that, as one of the devs admitted, is that the base game is so big and they didn't telegraph the effects of the choices in a condensed way. For example, there's a gig where one of the choices is accepting a bribe or killing the person. If you accept the bribe or let that person live, you'll see him in a bar in another district, far from where the gig happened, and he'll gloat to you about his life successes, making you regret not killing him, but if you don't explore a lot, it's very easy to miss that interaction so you'd think that the choice you made didn't matter at all. There are many examples like that.
The criticism about driving about lacks context imo. There are many cars in the game, and there are those that drive badly and those that drive really well. First person driving, especially with motorcycles is great fun.

The only thing I genuinely don't like now is the driving ... the cars still feel super floaty, hard to control. I'm still also not a fan of the intro, and how they never re-did it or added to it, it still feels like a huge chunk of it is missing ... But not anything that detracts away from the entire overall game though.

I'm telling ya ,you can setup a weapon better than an iconic
I was using moron labe
It's based off the Ajax
85 head multi
25 armor pen
51 damage
Chance for crit on dismember
Iconics have no mod slots
So I found a 5++ Ajax
100 head multi
25 armor pen
51 damage
Had two slots ,one was filled with 6% Pyro
I put a 30 % crit ricochet in the other
3% crit scope
10% crit silencer on each
The latter just shreds

Mostly mods ,gota pay attention sometimes a weapon slips in there
Look up top ,if it's iconic it can be max upgraded
I know early game ,buzzsaw slips in there as a white weapon
Also early game you'll need to craft white components to. Green
green components to purple
Purple to orange etc

it's an impressive looking game, large in scale
the city, atmosphere, weapons etc are all cool
the combat's pretty good albeit a bit repetitive
i ****ing hated the story, the endless dialogue about nothing bored the life out of me, that's subjective though, plenty thought the story was the best part
it is a 9/10 game even though i'm not a massive fan of it

Also I've seen way more bugs in 2.0/2.1 versus at launch. None game breaking but annoying none the less. But still it's a very good game (all the better if you got a boss PC).

I thought it was good but there were many evenings I'd hop on for cyberpunk for an hour, do a story mission, and realize an hours gone by and I haven't even shot my gun or done anything other than move around the map, and talk to people.
That being said I still think the campaign and story are great. But yeah sometimes I'd be playing and I'd look at my clock and be like nahhh don't bother starting a story mission now I don't feel like listening to 40 minutes of conversation

I would agree that there's a lot of dialogue. The good thing though is that all character lines, even the most minor ones, are voiced, so you can just listen or observe their facial animations while they're talking.
I guess one of the reasons why the long dialogue scenes in CP77 never really bothered me is because I'm used to playing old school "nerdy" RPGs like Pillars of Eternity, Baldur's Gate 1-2, etc where a lot of dialogue are walls of texts with no voice.

Who said it’s hard?
One of the easiest games I’ve played, beat the entire game using a Katana. I’m fast af cuz. Double jump to air strafe and slide all over da fukn place no one can touch me. It’s quite amusing actually.
Literally never die. Just run up on mu****as and go alert mode using finishing moves.

I have 20 Body and full perks on health regen and healing item cooldown but if I get careless, I still can still get killed easily at very hard difficulty. This is without sandy though. I just can't let go of my hacking capabilities.

I downloaded the latest patch and now my graphics card stutters like hell with raytracing.
Before I could play the game easily @ 4k resolution with an RTX 3070. Now, guess I have to upgrade.
