The GOAT just winning another championship today

In-season tournament championship for the NBA

1st time they've had this, they changed up the courts and enticed the players with an extra 500k to the winners. You already know who won that chit.

AD with a dominate 40/20/5 game, and the Lakers beat the Pacers and the "end of the bench" guys went crazy since they basically got double their yearly salary with this win lol
Three two-way players making $559k a year now will make $1.09m this year thanks to the Lakers victory in the In Season Tournament.

In his post-game talk accepting the MVP award, Lebron alluded to the guys who don't make the huge money as a motivation for him to try and win this thing.

Still lost 4 straight, still choked in the clutch. Standard Lebron performance.

In season tournament it's literally just regular season games with a shiny coat of paint.

Can someone explain this in-season bs? Did they stop the normal season for this? Was all teams involved?

No same normal season, every game counted for your regular season except for this championship game.. Games were decided by point differential as well, so teams would run up the score or try and stage a comeback.

If you made it to the semi finals I believe you made an extra 100k, finals losers make 250k, and winners make 500k

All teams were involved, and had a "group play" early in the year
