Taylor Swift is hugely overrated

One catch song nearly 10 years ago (bad blood) and the rest is garbage.

Totally overrated.

It seemed like every generation has a favorite entertainer/singer. I'm not all that familiar with her music but she seems like a quality person.

When the Rolling Stones decided to make their second album they rented a villa on the french riviera.

They bought a couple cases of booze and locked themselves in until the album was done. Drank themselves mad and enjoyed the creative process. Obviously , being the stones, the "locking themselves in" part meant crazy parties with the local women at their villa. That helped the creative process of course.

Ended up with a great album with massive sales. This also solidified them as a band not only for their fans but for each other. They are still selling out stadiums and the guys are like Bidens age, even older than me if you can imagine that being possible.

Does anyone for a second think that taylor Swift or any of these new bands are doing anything remotely like this? hell no. Someone writes the catchy tunes and tells them what to sing and where to sing it. Thats it.

They have a computer program that basically writes the songs for them. They just pick what type and some keywords from drop down menus and hit submit and the song comes out.

My theory is Taylor Swift has blown up because white women are desperate for relatability

Majority of mainstream music is garbage jogger-noise & that's not what North America represents being 80% white

Swift's tracks are low-tier pop trash; she doesn't have half the star power of those before her
