How do I get my energy back after pneumonia and Covid?

In early Sept. pneumonia went around our office so I was extremely sick for 6 weeks. Then I was able to start walking in October and went to lift once.

In early November I caught a bad case of Covid going around the office and I was going to die with a high fever, severe chest pain, cough, congestion, brain fog and leg weakness. I was in the ER 5 times—2 for pnemonia as my blood oxygen level fell below 90 and the others were from an allergic reaction to Paxlovid, the Covid antiviral, as my throat closed up and I couldn’t swallow and I was pacing around and couldn’t sit for 3 days.

I’ve never been this sick before.

Just going to the office wears me out. I went to a Christmas even on Sunday with a lot of walking. I could barely get out of bed the next day.

How do I get my energy back ao I can go to the gym again? I’m taking more vitamins and 100g of protein a day. I added more fruit and veggies.

Edit: Blood oxygen levels fell below 90, not 99 lol. Early morning typo.

Sleep well

Get off the prescription drugs

Exercise

Pay attention to your diet

Lose 50 lbs

Aren't you on oezempic too? You need to have some appetite to get over sickness. What's wrong with good old fashioned self discipline to diet effectively instead of injecting a drug? Learning some self control is a talent that will help you in several facets of life, and something you apparently lack.. but it's never too late to work on your self control. A cocktail of various drugs taken daily to merely function is not going to do very much for your energy levels.

By force, just like any other time you got in shape. You literally force yourself to fight through the suck until it doesn't suck anymore and is as simple as taking a shower. Stop procrastinating and go tonight. No excuses, you're a grown ass woman and you will do what the fuk I tell you to do.
I'm back, bitches!

Aerobic exercises several hours per week at least will build respiratory system and cardiovascular system endurance. Start slow

On spread

- I sleep about 8 hours a night and take a nap after work

- I'm working with my Dr. to taper off the prescription drugs and I asked her to completely stop one--Mxxxx. I'm tapering off of Axxxx as that creates the most weight gain, high cholesterol and high blood sugar. I've tried tapering it 2x before and it gave me severe anxiety, so we are going slower this time. So far so good.
My Weight Management Specialist Dr. said that 5 of my prescription drugs cause weight gain and sleepiness since they are mostly anti-anxiety drugs to help me get off of the ******. Axxx is one of them, then we will work on tapering the ******, and so on.

- Just walking wipes me out but I haven't done much in 3 months so I'm sure I'm very weak. I'll do some band exercises tonight before getting into lifting.

- I rehauled my diet right before Thanksgiving as when I was sick I was just ordering Door Dash restaurant food because I could barely get off the couch. I'm sure that didn't help my illness. I've been buying lean protein, fruits and veggies and feel better.

- I've lost 20 lbs with the Ozxxxx and Phxxxxx as they brought my calorie down to 1500 a day.

- I've stopped the Ozxxxxbecause it causes terrible nausea so of course the Dr. gives you another drug for that, cystic acne so the dermatologist gives an antibiotic, and it's hard to go to the bathroom, so then you need to take fiber and over the counter stuff.

Hence why I made that thread a couple of weeks ago as I was just plain overwhelmed with all of these drugs and what to take when. That was creating more anxiety!

Losing weight has been tough these past 3 years as I'll lose 15-20 lbs and regain it plus. I get to a point where I'm get so hungry I can't sleep and end up eating 2200 calories. I really am going to keep it off this time and my Dr. wants me to lose 30 more lbs as my knees no longer hurt carrying the extra weight and I can fit in my skinny jeans.

What I have to do is eat more during the day as I usually don't have much of an appetite during the day, but I always eat healthy during the day. At night at 2am I'm not going to make scrambled eggs and fruit since I'm half asleep, so that's when I went for husband's tortilla chips.

It's not just aesthetics, though. My cholesterol skyrocketed this past year and i don't want to take yet another drug, a statin, which my Dr. said I would if it doesn't come down by April. My Mom had a horrible stroke as I mentioned and is incapacitated in a nursing home because she ate fast food nightly and I don't want that. I never eat fast food but I was binging on daughter and husband's Nutella and chips.

You're right. I do well with self control when healthy food is in front of me if I'm at home and they are on vacation, but when they put out cookies at work or other people have sweets at home I really suck at the willpower to stay away from that food when it's in front of me.

Lol. OK I will go tonight and start with band exercises and then move to the weights.

Would walking count? Years of tennis makes it painful to run, plus the extra weight, although I could try in a few weeks since I'm 20 lbs lighter. I used to do Zumba and hip hop 2x a week but our instructor left my tennis club.

I really want to get back into tennis. I tried pickleball in October and it was easier with the extra weight because I didn't have to run so much, but definitely different and I don't like the scoring lol. I'm old school with tennis scoring. I'm a singles player and that requires a lot of running.

I need to transition to doubles given my age because I'm not going to hold up against 25 year olds in singles league, no matter how much weight I lose. Doubles is like pickleball where I don't like it as I don't like volleying that much, but I'm thinking of taking a doubles clinic to get past that discomfort and learn more of the strategy. But I'll still try to play singles, even though it's hard to find people to play with as most at my club play doubles.

As long as you can get your body into an aerobic state. Even if it’s just for a few minutes at a time, then gradually increase the duration

Gosh I was falling asleep around 5:30pm while I was trying to wrap up work and fell asleep so hard I thought it was 7am and not 7pm when I woke up.

Now I have to get the energy to clean up the place for the housecleaners tomorrow and work out. Lord help me!

You could have gone for a 30 minute walk instead of typing this wall of text out. (Use a walking aid)

it's going to take time is the biggest thing.

I disagree with anyone saying force exercise/movement. I think you want to aim to move more, but forcing yourself to do something could just set yourself back further. If you can't go for a 30 minute walk, just walk to the end of the street and back. gradually go up from there. Get sunlight, especially in the morning. Cook at home. all the typical advice.

get off that stupid prescription drug with unknown side effects (after clearing it with the doctor).
My ALT is elevated. 75.

Well early 50s but close enough.

I'm sure my age and my weight made Covid even worse for me. I'm thankful I'm better than I was 2 weeks ago.

Give 20 BJs to build your lung capacity.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

The pneumonia and covid messed up your ability to absorb oxygen, so you now have to build your lungs back up. Your heart too, but more your lungs.

As well as being tired, you are probably mentally missing a step, which you can't tell because of the psych meds, but it's because your blood oxygen levels are less than ideal.

Walk around the house, go up and downstairs twice, then three times etc.

You don't have to makerapidprogress, but you do have to makeprogress. Any progress will see a mental improvement, in addition to a physical one.
Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!

The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.

They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......

Yeah I definitely had brain fog with Covid. It was BAD. I was overwhelmed with simple tasks like taking a shower, making breakfast, and then God forbid I got in a car after 3 weeks and I freaked out that I was going to get in an accident.

It's hard to describe what the Covid brain fog is like. That illness is definitely man-made and biowarfare after having it for the first time.

Plus with my blood oxygen levels falling to 87-89 I read somewhere that it takes time to recover from that. Good point that you brought that up.

I’d go back after covid crimes are prosecuted. I mean not to the same crime care facility but a different one. Anyone would be stupid to believe in circumstances like this. You can actually trust your judgementrany

Well I mean here’s the thing.

Interfering with ns is a felony, by itself able to lead up to life in prison without parole. Which you’re guilty of if you do anything to hinder, slow or impede ns agenda

Interfering with an investigation, especially federal. Is another felony…

And that’s not if you’re doing something related either. That would result in more penalties

No one cares about Sandusky or his criminal entourage trying to save money after what they did. No one except the criminals who’d done it. You can bet the the public will unanimously support/endorse interfering ns charges to be handed out like condoms at a health center.

Because they’re not involved in the crimes, unless they’re committing crimes in attempt to cover it up. And getting paid. No one cares

So it’s like you have to be wondering? What Sandusky is doing here and his Sandusky entourage is doing. In the end? These people are just digging extremely deep graves for themselves and others

Well I mean most of lockheeds office spaces are near very large military bases in the north east

I mean that reinvesting office was only my Lockheed office

Both floors, dedicated just to psu PateRNo nsa

As they have a real office space close by that’s their main office

I don’t know that trump and Lockheed have pursued new real estate companies after previous betrayals

99.99999% of people are not in danger of the China virus. However, obese people do seem to have issues with it. So with you hovering around 350lbs per you, I'd suggest dropping about 200lbs. Srs, vry srs.

Where do people come up with these numbers? I’m nowhere near 350 lbs???? I’m not even 200 lbs???

I’m overweight, not obese.
