What movies did you enjoy, but don't want to watch again?

And why?

1. Shutter Island - Awesome movie, but when mystery films end, I have no incentive to watch them again.

2. The Green Mile - This movie is just flat out depressing as hell. I'd have to actively want to depress myself to watch it again.

I'll add more as they pop into my head or if I decide to steal one of your answers. Your turn misc.
I'm back, bitches!

Damn thats a good question. Lots of movies. i was gonna say Six ways to Sunday because its so fuked up but i havent seen it in a long time. Anyone who hasnt seen it should watch it. Actually thats a damn good movie. Requiem for a Dream also comes to mind. Just hard to watch. Especially if you are on drugs watching it. Spun is another good example. Felt like i was doing meth on that movie.

Tusk is just a dumb and chitty movie in general but the ending still makes me sick to this day. If i have to puke all i gotta do is think of that movie. Hell i could fill a page of movies.

Most any of those movies that's verging on 3 hours. Films like Apocalypse Now or Eyes Wide Shut are great, but at that fuking runtime I need to have too much free time and patience to sit through it again, knowing what happens and how it ends.

Sinister, the most unsettling creepy movie I've watched. Movies don't ever move me (unless it's a sad movie with a dog), but this one gave me goosebumps. Extremely well done, atmosphere is 10/10, but it made my stomach unsettled and I was unnerved well after it ended.

Good movie but god damn is it long.Im gonna get hate for this but i dont think i wanna watch The Good Bad and the Ugly again.its one of the best movies ever but ive seen it too many times and 3 and a half hours is too much. Sorry my bad 3 hours.still one of my favorite movies. Cant do the Godfather either. Also Das Boot.that was long as hell.

Would probably edge towards the more extreme cinema titles in the manner of "A Serbian Film", "Irreversible" etc. Watching too much of this kind of thing will likely be warping your brain.

I might put Trainspotting on this list. It wasn't as rough as something like Requiem for a Dream (at least from what I've heard of that movie), but it was still plenty depressing and just went on and on.

Mornin'....

OTOH....I would throw out any of the John Wick Movies.
I don'tdislikeKeano, and I've not seen installment 4 yet but I think 1 through 3 was just more of the same and I got weary of it.
A bit too much over the top in the KIAs department by one person.

Although, I've been wrong in the past

I said Requiem for a dream above. You never even watched it? Dont comment on movies you havent even seen. Watching that movie dope sick is a special torture i reserve for my enemies. They will beg you to kill them. Also Trainspotting sucked big time. Its practically a worse movie if you can understand their damn fooking Scott accents. One of the most Overrated movies ever.

m8 I'll comment on what I like. I've heard it listed as "a great movie that I'll never watch again" a million times.

And I liked Trainspotting still, though yeah, there was one character that I only got like 3 of his words out of the whole movie cus of his accent. Maybe subtitles would be the reason for a re-watch.

Interstellar.....the whole missing out on his kids life at the end and her telling him she doesn't need him because she basically lived her life without him.

Ok.im cranky this morning but as a movie buff i dont think you should make a statement on something that cant be considered a statement. If you never seen it then you dont know why its considered a 'great movie that ill never watch'. Its one of those movies you have to experience yourself. Sorry im pissy today and im gonna get more drunk and hopefully watch a good movie. Hope you have a good day sir. Im pissed off this morning. If i had a line of pepsi id watch it right now.pretty fun actually.need whisky and pepsi to complete the experience

Your point #1 is spot on.

Mystery/plot twist driven movies can be great……..once.

The Notrious B.I.G. biopic from like 2009 or whatever, Notorious. Thoroughly enjoyed the movie while I was sitting in the theater watching it. Immediately knew I had zero desire to ever see it again afterwards. Then again, I think biopics as a film concept in general usually kind of suck.

Anything that isn't comedy really

Simply don't have the time to be watching chit twice. If it's a classic funny movie it will always be ready to be played as background noise

My current background noise movie is coneheads.
