A long time ago I wrote the first five chapters of a story called “Nazi Girls from Dimension Zero”

It is about two teenage girls from a reality where the Nazis emerged victorious from World War 2, (and they’re also from 20,000 years in the future) and came to our world to seek out minority captives to miniaturize and take with them back to their reality.

In future chapters I plan on having one of the girls embrace democracy and racial equality after making friends with someone from our world their age, while the other girl holds steadfast to her Nazi beliefs.

I need advice on how to do this without going woke.

There are a lot of ways a story like this could go woke, and I’d like to avoid that. Can you guys help me?

Right now I’m working on making the first chapter into a comic book. It may be a while before I work on the newer chapters I have planned that I discussed in this thread

They attended workshops on understanding pronouns, engaging in conversations about different gender identities, and learning about the experiences of those they had previously misunderstood. Slowly but surely, the two friends began to question their own biases and broaden their perspectives.

One pivotal moment occurred when they stumbled upon a spoken word performance by a talented poet named Alex, who identified as non-binary. DeuceDecimator and Getter_Done were captivated by Alex's words, feeling a connection that transcended generational gaps. Inspired, they approached Alex after the performance, ready to engage in a meaningful conversation.

Let me guess, this is an example of how NOT to write a story like this?
