Why do people that hate Christianity celebrate Christmas?

Seems pathetic, they hate religion and act big brain/superior to religious individuals all the time, but still celebrate the birth of Christ?
Why? Because everyone else does it? Pathetic.
If atheist's had any sort of holiday you can bet your left nut I wouldn't support or celebrate it
