No. Getting tattoos was already very mainstream by the time I was of age to consider getting any. At this point,nothaving any tats is the counter culture.

Interesting. Most guys I know with military tats seem to go the other direction when they get home, and go all out with full arm sleave tats and such. Would you say most of them like their tats, or not after some years of being out?

Yes, just one. One of my dad’s best friends is a tattoo artist so it was a gift for my 20th birthday. If I had to do it all over again, I probably wouldn’t get inked. It’s not that I don’t like tattoos. Unlike most miscers, I don’t think it’s degenerate to have them. I just think most people get chitty tattoos because they can’t afford quality pieces. That’s why you see dumb fuks with doodles all over their skin. A great tattoo from a talented artist will run you literally thousands of dollars. If I could afford it and I found something meaningful to get, I may one day add more, but until then there are SO MANY more important things in life to blow money on.

This is also true. It’s been found that lymph nodes on inkcels are permanently dyed. I don’t think they’ve ever linked higher rates of cancer with tattooed people though. At least not last I checked (about 4 years ago)
