Canada is gonna go all electric vehicles by 2035

https://www.thestar.com/autos/canada...45595b216.html
The new regulations will require zero emissions vehicles (ZEVs), which include battery electric, hydrogen and plug-in electric vehicles, to make up 20 per cent of all new car sales in 2026, 60 per cent in 2030 and 100 per cent in 2035, the official said.

People think " oh thats great! we are saving the planet! get rid of those nasty engines! "

Not realizing that part of this is them not being able to own or drive a car anymore if their job assignment does not call for it.

You will live in the 15 min city and love it.

Know why they are putting bike lanes everywhere around here in Canada? So you can ride a bike to your destination! That way you can still get around... and wont complain about "freedom"

Car sharing will become a "forced" option for lower and middle class. Driving your own car will be a thing of the past.

Dont fret though, the elites will still jet around and have their sports cars and trucks, they need them, to help them do their job making our decisions for us!

Places with extremely cold temps are literally the worst places to own an EV.

What an absolute joke, and the Libcucks will push this agenda by raising gas prices to where it’s impossible to afford any or even find it .
It’s quite funny that no one can do the math and figure out how much pollution was created to mine the lithium and other minerals needed to make batteries in the first place .
You’d think people would be hesitant to purchase an EV knowing that the replacement battery exceeds the value of the car .
Consumers are going to be in for a real rude awakening when the cost of electricity skyrockets in order to upgrade the infrastructure to support the increased demand .
All this push for EV’s will do is make the middle class even poorer , nothing more .

you are over thinking this

its about putting you in a pod and using a bicycle for travel, you wont be owning a car anymore unless your job requires it

Solo vehicles and flight travel will be for the leaders and elites only.

This. Everything I have seen recently shows me that cars will only be for the rich people in the future.

first cars prices keep going through the roof. Used to be able to get cars under 25k new all the time, now its like 40k normal rate. used to be 5k under MSRP now they are all MSRP only. Then them going EV only, first of all EVs are more expensive, second they only have a 10 year shelf life before the battery is useless and it cost more than the car is worth to change out the battery. Third you already got them charging per day "congestion fees" in NYC, which right now is like $23 a day and will only go up from there, thats $690 a month to the city who hands out free **** to illegals. Now if you are rich, then that fee is nothing but if you are poor or middle class that is pushing you out of car ownership. wait until its federal and nationwide.

They're never gonna have enough reliable chargers coast-to-coast in the set timeframe. 2035 will become 2050.

It’s the other way around.

You can always charge your Tesla, even from solar panels. But nobody will be bringing gas to gas stations during emergencies, just like people found out in a really harsh way during Hurricane Sandy here in NY. The dude that has Tesla and solar roof was having a party every night, while plebs was totally fuked in the ass.

The average mind will talk about this and do absolutely nothing.

The intelligent mind will ask "who will benefit from this the most?" and then buy Tesla stock.

Trudeau won't be around in after 2025. Forget about 2035.

I'll delete my account if he recovers from being at 20% in the polls for 6 months. Never seen anyone come back from that before.

Tesla has pretty much killed all competition.

Also, a reminder: statistically this is the best stock in history of the stock market, and second best investment of all time after bitcoin. So… idk… you want to bet against it? Many have tried…
