Most people dont use a zero based budget... we have one and follow it as closely as possible. Wifey rarely goes over. My buddy's wife on the other hand has had a past with running up credit cards without his knowledge. I would absolutely divorce someone who willingly ran up cards to the tune of 10 grand without my knowledge. Some people just are complete idiots with money and act like children with credit/credit cards.
