Pretty good.

Make a pretty solid income (poverty by Misc standards though, of course), and live well below my means. Have a lot saved and invested.

I have a ton of money in savings and low expenses, so I'm not worried. But my income this year was the lowest since 2016, and that honestly bothers the fuk out of me. To earn less than $100k anytime in the prime earning years of my career feels like a giant fuking setback.

I know a number of real estate brahs on the struggle bus since rates jumped. It really does look like they'll start declining next year so could be a better year for you. Best of luck brah

Dropping thousands at a time on sports bets and so not really affected by things like inflation. It's just more of an annoyance in that you're not receiving enough bang for your buck.

As for overall finances, not exactly Mclaren balling, but the idea is to gain enough funds across 2024 so that I can essentially retire and focus on music (which for now is a hobby).

I don’t have much. My wife and I both work, but also pay a lot in taxes and on our two kids. Not much in liquid saving, just equity. While I am on the title of our house, so are my parents (I once helped them refinance with consigning, so their interest rate went down). I helped pay off the mortgage and invested a lot into the property.

Still, income streams are good for now, and i’m not worried about emergencies. I have enough for that stuff. I know there are people in worse circumstances, so I am thankful and grateful for what I have.

Very comfortable, semi retired. Lately flying and LOLing hard at bears. Got my bags full during the bear market, now just watching the phone screen, rubbing my eyes to make sure I see what I think I see, and then loling hard at bear porn.

5% per year? As in if you have 100k the bank gives you 5k every 12 months? In this bull market I feel like kicking myself in the balls when some stock or crypto goes up “only” 10% per month. Seething! Srs.
