Ways to make money with pickup truck?
Need $50/hr after expenses - side hustle
I imagine there's a lot of tasks out there needing a pickup truck and most dont have one or know how to use it if they do.
just want to drive mostly dont want to pick up a bunch of heavy ass **** - some lifting is fine just dont want that to be the primary component
anything out there or does every tradie with a pickup already be doing it driving wages down?

It's also much easier to make $50/hr with low volume of hours, side hustle than it is at a full time 40 hour consistent gig. one has benefits and other expenses one is just random odd jobs and you can be selective, etc.

Garbage/furniture moving is pretty much the only thing. If you have a towing license and your pickup can handle it, get into hotshot work

Don't have a house, if you do, rent it out. Make your truck your home. Drive your balls off. Don't turn down any loads. Willing to drive anywhere. Any weather. Lower 48 OTR. Only bill will be your phone, maybe a mobile hotspot. Make food in the truck, don't spend stupidly, I hope you're an introvert, loaner, who doesn't care about a social life. It's a job that can really turn your life around, but it's soul crushing at the same time.
Back in 2005 I was having a hard time. Younger me, low experience, kind of a rock and a hard place in life not able to make decent money. Was going into debt and hardly able to pay my bills. Went to trucking school for 3 weeks, Spent 9 weeks with a trainer. First compnay was BS, but once I was there over 6mo I went with a better company and started making really good money at the time. If it wasn't for my grandmother needing me I would have probably stayed otu. It was mind numbing to be honest. However, the money was good. I almost thought about going back to it but my career now has taken me in better directions.

You're referring to hotshot driving.
It's common in the energy sector where a part needs to go out to fix something immediately because the downtime is incredibly expensive.
It's a niche industry and when you get a call at 3am for a 14 hour trip you drop everything and do it.
That's the only way to make that kind of money driving a pickup truck without loading/unloading heavy **** that I know of.
You could also climb the ranks of any large construction company or city works department to drive around supervising but you're looking at 15 years to get there.

Include handjobs for $10 per nut to your menu of options OP.
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."
